Alcúdia Majorca

About

Alcudia is situated on the peninsula separating the Bays of Alcudia and Pollensa in the northern part of the island. The area has stunning mountain scenery, coves, sandy beaches and golf courses

Local activities include: water sports, sailing, diving, golfing, horse riding, as well as sunbathing and relaxing!
Nightlife centres around local bars, cafes and restaurants in both Alcudia town. The Port area has some fine very good restaurants which offer seafood, European and Mallorcan cuisine.
However, if you are looking for a more lively area walk arounfd the bay to the main resort of Alcudia

Nightlife

  • One of the best places for lively nightlife in Alcudia is Goodfellas bar. Drinks are reasonably priced and it's an idea place to wind 'up' before you head of to one of the clubs
  • Alcudia's biggest nightclub is Menta. It's got it's own swimming pool where you can cool off between dances.
  • Alcudia has plenty to offer for everyone, whether it's a lads/girls holiday, young family or older people looking for a good time.
  • There is also Apoteket. Which is quoted as 'The coolest bar in Mallorca' ! It's pretty much an international place, not crammed with Brits. Try it for yourself

Beach Life

There are plenty of lovely beaches in this area. There's a fantastic stretch of beach which is the longest on the island, it has Blue Flag status. Due to it's shallow shelves and crystal clear water, it's ideal for families. You can try out waterskiing, jet bikes, bananas and all the other usual watersports.

Shopping

  • The seafront in Puerto d'Alcudia has lots of gift and postcard type shops, if you venture down the lanes and backstreets you will come across more traditional Mallorcan shops
  • Every Tuesday and Sunday the old town has a market day, it's a great place for ceramics, leather goods and souvenirs.
