One of the first tourist resorts on the island, Palma Nova is only (scientifically calculated) 13 steps from Magaluf!
It's great for families, couples and the older generation. It has good range of restaurants and nightlife, and you can always take the 13 steps to Magaluf if you are after a wilder time! The beaches are clean and safe, ideal for families.

Nightlife

• The Stadium Bar is a perfect venue for all the family. Karaoke is its forte, but there are live acts every night of the week.
• Banana Joe's is the only nightclub in Palma Nova, but it has good discos and karaoke nights. You'll find it on the seafront promenade.
• If you want to party all night, head for Magaluf and sample some of its 800 bars and clubs.
• Cappachino's is a quiet bar, perfect for relaxing and taking in the sights from the Passeig de la Mar. It serves a wide selection of fine wines, coffees and cakes.

Beach Life

• Palma Nova has two adjoining beaches, which have great facilities. The beach is safe and shallow and there are always lifeguards present.
• The beach has Sun beds, parasols, Shower facilities, Pedal boats, Surfing and Boat trips / tours
• The resort's Son Maties beach, is strewn with cafes, bars and helado(ice-cream) shops. It can get busy during the high season.

Shopping

• There's plenty shops here. Local crafts and souvenirs are aplenty. Most shops are eassily accessable within the main thoroughfare.
• Palma (the main city) is only a short bus-ride away and offers all the large stores you would expect of a European city
