Puerto Pollensa is said to be Majorca's prettiest north-coast resort. The tree-lined promenade is littered with cafes and bars. Puerto Pollensa is a well developed resort with a small marina, yet it still retains its original mallorcan feel. Great for families and people who prefer a quieter holiday
Pollensa boasts a massive Sunday market, great for the souvenir shoppers. Top quality local produce and Catalan specialities can be purchased here.

 

Nightlife

  • The nightlife is generally quiter than most resorts and is more suited to people who like a more relaxed atmosphrere
  • Chivas is the towns only club. It has an international clientel and can get very busy.
  • Mojito is a laid back bar which provides live music most evenings
  • Mulligan's is an Irish theme bar, you will be greeted with a warm welcome. Great for Guiness and a beers.
  • Coconuts is a great cocktail bar, it's very up-market and it also popular with the locals.
  • New Aniara offers all the modern tunes.
  • Roxy's Music Bar offers a great setting and excellent cocktails.
  • The R Bar is a trendy city type bar, music is cool as are the customers

 

Beach Life

  • The main beach at Puerto Pollensa is clean and is great for kids as the beach has shallow clear water, full of families. Watersports are a must here. Ylu can hire most equipment locally.
  • Nearby is Cala San Vicente with it's four coves is very popular with the locals so can get busy in early evenings and on Sundays.

 

Shopping

  • Leather and Shoes are a bargain here. Prices are good and the quality is high.
  • There are market days on Wednesday and Sundays.
  • Traditional arts and crafts can be bought in many of the towns shops.
  • SYP is a large Spanish supermarket chain. It's good for foodstuffs and alcohol
  • Pearls are very cheap in Majorca. Buy them here rather than in the UK.
